The Rainsticks were a folk/rock trio based in the Erding Area of Bavaria. The band consisted of Kaja Falkenberg-
During the nine years they played together theyy played in and around the Erding/Munich area including an appearance at the Erding Sinnflut in 1999 where they were joined on stage by Geoff Bastow (a well respected musician and producer) on keyboards, and Reinhold Kampferseck (drums) of Zauberberg .
The band recorded 1 album and 1 EP of original material written by Kaja and Chris and 1 album of cover songs on which they were joined by Christian Grote a local artist.
1992-
The Rainsticks dissolved in 2001. Kaja now sings and arranges with the Vaterstetten Gospel Choir and still gigs. Chris and Brigitte went on to help form The Kites with other local musicians from Erding.
Chris has also been recording again with Time Capsule and The Vaterstetten choir have collaborated on one of the tracks being featured in the Time Capsule Project.
